She’s sweet Tennessee and he’s good ol’ Oklahoma. I had such a blast getting to know Lucy and Blake during their mountain engagement session just west of Denver. We had some incredible glow and the peaks really showed off towards the end of the evening. Mt. Falcon Park is easily one of my favorite portrait locations and with these two, it was even better!

As with all my couples I like to schedule a phone call before booking. I love hearing how people met, what defines them as a unit, and what they like to do in their free time. But when I saw Lucy and Blake walk down the trail in boots, I knew they were my people. You just can’t go wrong with a good pair of denim and boots.

As time went on, they gave me great recommendations for local breweries in their area. Because I always gotta know where the best food and drinks are! I heard about their pups and what kinds of plans they’ve made for the wedding. They truly were the most relaxed, easy-going couple!

This mountain engagement session location was a perfect fit for Lucy and Blake’s Blackstone River’s Ranch ceremony coming up in June! I can hardly wait to capture every important moment of their day.
